To Takapuna!

The Okura River proves almost impossible to cross, but then I head into familiar territory

A Different Day

A short walking day, but I enjoy an afternoon in the garden and some eating

I take a different route to Wenderholm, and lose the plot in the afternoon

I look back on Northland, walk through Dome Forest, and swerve off the trail for tonight

Today's route includes a trail opened by Sir Edmund Hillary

A clear day with lots of views of the trail to this point, and the trail ahead

It seems to be my lucky day as lots of nice people stop to chat

A day of many steps, and beautiful forest scenery contrasted with industrial views

We cross the river this morning and stick together for the journey along Ocean Beach
